From Yakubu Mustapha, Minna

The Buhari Support Organization (BSO) in Niger State have completed plans for its scheduled 1million – man match in support of the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari for today in Minna the state capital.
The Niger state Coordinator of the organization, Alhaji Umar Shu’aibu disclosed yesterday while addressing journalists in Minna.
He said that the match is aimed at mobilising over 1.5m votes for President Buhari in the state in appreciation of his developmental strides and projects in the state.
He said, “we call on all and sundry to come out en mass for a one-million man match in support of reelection bid of our President, Muhamadu Buhari. He is the only man who has dared to fight corruption and care for the common man against all odds”.
Shuaibu said it was expedient not to grant elements vehemently opposed to the courageous fight against corruption, the opportunity to take the country back to the dark ages.
“It is not surprising that the corrupt elements are fighting back teeth and nails. Let us not grant them the slightest opportunity to take us back to those dark ages of insecurity, economic sabotage and massive corruption” he said.
He implored the people of the state to come out in their numbers and demonstrate their support in practical terms for the President by voting for him, adding that let’s encourage this man who wants our progress and development.
He explained that the walk would be the largest gathering and matching of supporters for President Buhari in the political history of the state adding that
According to him, “it will commence from Trade Fair Complex at 9.00am on Thursday February 2019 through the Obasanjo shopping complex and terminate at the Niger State BSO Headquarters” he stated.
