British govt restates commitment to boost economic relationship with Nigeria

The British Government has reiterated its commitment to boost business and economic relationship and partnership with Nigeria through the provision of an enabling business environment.

The Duke of York, Andrew Albert Christian Edward made this assertion during a visit by the Nigeria Delegation to London.

The Nigerian delegation was led by the Director GLEEHD Foundation Nigeria , Dayo Israel as part of a week long programme in London to identify with Nigeria in celebrating her just concluded Centenary celebration.

He said the British Government would continue to encourage every bilateral approach that would facilitate conducive business environment for the two countries and further boost the relationship.

According to him “many investors would like to do business in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

“He expressed his happiness to the facilitator of the meeting , just as he charged facilitator GLEEHD Foundation Nigeria for the initiative and charged them to make such meeting a regular forum to perfect and discuss any barriers that may hinder the smooth business relationship between the two countries.

The Director GLEEHD Foundation, Nigeria, Dayo Israel said Nigeria is a fertile land for business and investment to strive in Africa and the country is ready to open her doors wide open for any investor from any part of the world and do everything that would facilitate trade promotion between UK and Nigeria.

GLEEHD Foundation is a Leadership and International Development Organisation with its headquarters in the United Kingdom with an African Secretariat in Nigeria .
