Brain concept doles out scholarship to 3 children

The management of the Best Brain Concept, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has awarded scholarship to three less privileged children cut across primary and junior secondary schools in the territory.
The Head of mathematics at FAMAKS British schools Asokoro, Abuja, Mr. Jude Thadeus Numfor who disclosed this in an interview with newsmen during the 4th annual mathematics quiz competition organized for junior secondary schools on Saturday by the Best Brain Concept.
Numfor said the scholarship was given out to the three children in order to encourage them pursue their education, pointing out that the three less privileged children would enjoy the scholarship till the end of their secondary education level.
He called on well-meaning Nigerians to deem it necessary to sponsor the less privileged children in schools.
He therefore, appealed to the Federal Government to support his scholarship scheme financially so as to enable him provide more scholarship to the less privileged ones in the society.
Numfor expressed dismay that the mathematics teachers were not motivated, while advising them to teach passionately from their heart.
In an interview during the mathematics quiz competition, a teacher from Prime scholars’ school Karu, Abuja, Mr. Bako Gideon expressed joy as the students from his school emerged overall winner of the competition.
Gideon called on the Federal Ministry of Education to organize quiz competition among the students in order to fish out the hide talents in the society.
At the end of the competition, Prime scholars’ schools Karu took 1st position, Genesis Christian Academy Kuje maintained 2nd position and the 3rd position went to Noble Heights School Karu.
