Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido, has charged the new administrative management and staff of Hon. Zephaniah Jisalo Secretariat complex, in Apo, to remain steadfast, in ensuring that the Council’s Secretariat Annex building took a proper shape.
Candido, particularly charged the Council staff posted there to brace up for effective productivity and service delivery to people in the Council.
This is coming on the heels of the recent relocation of three AMAC departments: Health; Agriculture and Environment there.
According to a Press Statement issued by the Chairman’s Chief Press Secretary, Dayo Lawal, he gave the charge while inspecting the AMAC Secretariat Annex complex, on Monday.
It stated that AMAC Chairman observed that a lot of work still needed to be carried out to ensure that the Secretariat play its vital services.
It added that the AMAC boss warned that any staff found not on sit during working hours beginning from yesterday (Tuesday) this week will be sanctioned.
“The Council Chairman inspected the ongoing construction of Dutse-Garki Access Road in the Council Area.
“Addressing the Chief and residents of Dutse-Garki community at the project site, Candido charged the community to cooperate with the contractors handling the road project so as to ensure prompt completion of the work,” the statement stated.
