The League Management Company (LMC) shifted the venue indefinitely, pending when full security would return to Borno.
With the change of venue, the LMC had also announced March 26 for the postponed week 2 Globacom League match between El-Kanemi Warriors and Abia Warriors.
Bosso said that he was happy about the change of venue and was expecting a good game against the Maiduguri side.
He said that he was anticipating a balanced game because of the neutral ground.
“We are ready for the game and any time we are given the go ahead to play, we will play.
“I’m happy the tie has been taken away from the war-prone zone and with my understanding of Kanow, we will surely overwhelm our hosts,’’ he said.
Bosso said he was not underestimating El-Kanemi but that the change of venue would definitely be a minus for the Maiduguri-based club.
“”El-Kanemi are a good side and with my understanding of the club, I’m sure we will prevail.
“”It’s going to be a balanced game and we are ready for the club,’’ Bosso said.
Abia Warriors currently occupies the 4th position on the league log after winning their season opener against Kaduna United.
