The Commandant, Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji, Air Vice Marshal John Chris Ifemeje has described bilateral agreement in intelligence gathering as a panacea for enhanced security especially on the African Continent.
AVM Ifemeje stated this when a team from the Zimbabwe Defence Intelligence Agency led by the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Zimbabwe, Brigadier General MN Sango visited AFCSC Jaji.
The Commandant, who is also the Chairman African Conference of Commandants (ACoC), emphasized the need for Zimbabwe to commence training and sharing of common interest which will bring about peaceful coexistence not only between the two countries but the African region as a whole.
Earlier, the visiting team leader, Brigadier General Sango who unveiled the plan for strengthening of bilateral relations between the Armed Forces of the two countries said they were visiting Nigeria with the aim of exchanging ideas on some topical issues that would be beneficial to the Armed Forces of both countries.
