Baby factory: Pastor, 7 others in police net

A 33-year old Pastor Sunday Chiedu of the Libration Ministry Agbor town in Delta State and seven others are currently in Police net over the alleged sale of unborn babies” in the area.
In what appeared to be nemesis which caught with the suspects, started last month of October 2019 when the Police detectives from Agbor Police Division got wind of the illicit activities behind closed doors masterminded by the arrested suspects, one of them as the leader, Adagbo Samuel ( AkA,Baba) made frantic efforts to uncover the factory, but failed after money was alleged to have exchanged hands and the investigation died a natural death
It was gathered that some persons who were not comfortable with the truncated investigation, fired a fresh petition, this time around, to the Police operatives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) specifical Intelligence Response Team ( IRT)who were said to have swung into action and one Madam Isioma Uko, Adagbo Samuel,Alias Baba, Chief Medical Director and owner of Ndu Hospital and mortuary in Agbor communities,Vera Emenike, Monday Joy, Faith Yusuf, Desmond and Friday,a panel beater were arrested.
The syndicate were arrested by the Police Operatives led by a Deputy Commissioner of Police, (DCP) Abba Kyari who mobilized his team when they acted on intelligence gathering to uncover the hospital allegedly used for the illicit activities of unborn babies’ factory
Victims at the hospital, were under aged girls, pregnant women among others as they were allegedly lured to the hospital that turned out to be illegal orphanage home with harvest of babies when their young mothers are just six months gone via alleged hard drugs and poisonous vaccine.
But Pastor Chiedu, one of the arrested suspects told Journalists at the weekend that after he struggled to finish his secondary school, he could not proceed to the university owing to the poor financial status of his family, adding:” I decided to go into bricklaying which I did to support myself and family before I met the late Augustine Odinma who was a pastor at Christ Living Faith Church and he asked to stay with him so that I will be close to God and I was with him but could not teach me the work of God or the art of being a pastor before he died and after death, his wife sent us out of his house that was before I got married. I used to ride a motorcycle before I founded my own church. Police arrested me because I did business with Samuel Adagbo who’ we call Baba and the business involved buying of babies, I brought a girl from Edo State to Samuel, and the girl is a prostitute who got pregnant and wanted to get rid of it but the pregnancy was six months gone when she came to my church to ask if I knew where abortion could be carried out and I got to know her during my commercial cycling days.”
However, the Police boss disclosed that the suspects will be charged to court on completion of investigation and warned that it will no longer be business as usual for all forms crimes in the state.
