Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Bala Mohammed, has approved the formal resignation of Colonel Abdullahi Sokyara Kudu (Rtd), as his Special Adviser on Security matters.
A statement by Chief Press Secretary to the FCT Minister, Muhammad Sule, yesterday, said the resignation, which is with immediate effect, is to enable the former Special Adviser ample opportunity to pursue his political ambition.
According to the statement, the Minister, who seized the opportunity to thank Colonel Kudu for his immense contribution to the development of the FCT, particularly the new security protocol that is about to come to effect, wished the former Special Adviser well in his future endevours.
“Meanwhile, the former Special Adviser on Security has expressed his gratitude to the FCT Minister for giving him the opportunity to serve in that capacity in his Administration.
“Colonel Kudu pledged his continued loyalty and support for the FCT Minister and will always be available at any given time his professional advice is required,” the statement said.
