Aregbesola’s victory was a reciprocation of good works, says SSA

The victory recorded by Governor Rauf Aregbesola of the State of Osun in the August 9 governorship election has been described as a reward for dedication to the service of the people.

Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Forum, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye made the assertion at the Christ Apostolic Church, Number 1, Ibokun, on Sunday during a Special Thanksgiving Service over the successful re-election of Aregbesola.

He said that if not for the overwhelming support of the people and divine intervention the victory would have been difficult to achieve.

Outlining achievements of Governor Rauf Aregbesola in the areas of infrastructure development, education and youth empowerment, Oyintiloye noted that vision and commitment on the part of governor brought about the change.

Promising that the governor would reciprocate the gesture in his second term, Oyintiloye added the governor was conscious and clear about the challenges for development.

He noted that the governor places premium on the love and support shown to his administration leading to a victorious outing at the poll, and said the governor would ensure equal distribution of social amenities and developmental projects to all parts of the state during the second tenure.

He further assured that the governor would not relent on his commitment to make Osun a reference among the comity of states in the country.

Also speaking, the Alademure of Ibokun, Oba Festus Awogboro commended Aregbesola for his developmental stride, expressing optimism that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola second administration would surpass his first term.

The monarch also lauded Oyintiloye for his pro-activeness and commitment to the progressive course, said that his good representation has earned the ancient town a lot from the government.
