Appointment: LEA Secretary expresses gratitude to council chairman

The Education Secretary in charge of Gwagwalada Area Council Local Education Authority (LEA) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Mamman Musa, has thanked the Executive Chairman of the Area Council, Hon Adamu Mustapha Danze for appointing him as the Education Scribe among the Gbagyi People in the area.
Musa, who stated this while presenting his address during the handover notes ceremony, held at the LEA hall on Monday, also prayed that God would give the chairman and his cabinet members the wisdom as well as inspirational skills to further excel in their political careers.
His words: “I want to use this medium to clearly define myself that I will discharge all administrative duties to the best of my Knowledge capacity to promote peace, unity and progress of Gwagwalada Area Council to the next level through vision, mission and implementation of educational policies and programmes as enshrined in the policy in conjunction with the initiatives of the Executive chairman’s effort towards promoting Educational activities in the area without personal dichotomization and demoralization”.
He said the Gbagyi community would continue to support the developmental initiatives of the Area Council in all ramifications, adding that Gbagyi peopaale would continue to be law-abiding citizens in the area while fielding questions from newsmen, the secretary said he would not hesitate to organize workshops/seminars for the staff in order to update their knowledge, and urged the staff to liaise or co-operate with him to move the education to the next level.
Also speaking, the Supervisory Councillor for Education in the Area Council, Hassan Shuaibu Loko who represented the council chairman, Hon. Adamu Mustapha Danze at the occasion charged the LEA Secretary to always give the necessary attention to the educational sector in the area.
Danze, however, advised the secretary to work with every staff for the sake of the educational development in the area.
