A Chieftain of the All Peoples Congress (APC) and former Minister of Police Affairs, Dr Ibrahim Yakubu Lame, has declared that the party was formed in order to bring change in leadership by bringing good governance that will address all the socio economic and political problems bedeviling the country.
Lame stated this yesterday at the declaration of former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party ANPP, Comrade Sabo Mohammed, to contest for Bauchi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2015.
He said the party will ensure that credible and reliable candidates capable of winning at the general election are offered the party’s platform even as he stressed that they would emerge through a free and fair primaries.
He advised members of the party to be disciplined during the forth coming ward and state congress in order to elect credible leaders that will lead by example.
Mohammed in his comment sensitizes members on the importance of abiding strictly the guidelines and constitution of the party as released by the National Headquarters during wards and state congress.
He pledged to make a difference by continuing to do things that will developed the 20 wards in Bauchi Local Government area and urged them to support his candidature in order to bring purposeful leadership that will carry all along.
Special Guest of Honour at the occasion, Alhaji Habu Mohammed Dukawa, former Special Adviser, political, to Governor Ibrahim Shekarau urged the people of the constituency to support Mohammed because of his commitment to the development of his people.
