Anambra State young professionals resident in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, have endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan, Ben Nwankwo, and Offorbuike Okoli for the 2015 Presidency, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly respectively.
This they said is in consideration of the President Jonathan’s transformation agenda, which motivated them to campaign support for him.
The group made this known at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat in Abuja, after President Jonathan purchased his nomination forms for the 2015 presidential election.
Okoli, who also purchased his form to contest Anambra State House of Assembly, was adopted by the group.
The Chairman of the group, Onyedika Eweh, with his Secretary, Nonso Agba, said “It is obvious that the President has proven to be a true transformer who if sustained, would bring more gains to Nigerians, especially those at the grassroots.
“Some of them, before the present administration, never experienced the impact of governance in their lives, we have started campaigning for him and others who would ensure that the will of the people are safeguarded come 2015”, he said.
“We urge him to come back and consolidate on his gains, while encouraging one of our own, a dedicated youth, whom his people from Orumba South have called upon to represent them at the state House of Assembly, because of his antecedents” he said.
