….Pledges security, jobs if elected

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant in the November 6 Anambra State governorship election, Dr. Valentine Ozigbo has declared that he is not intimidated by the presence of
former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo or any other aspirant in the race .
Soludo is intending to realise his governorship ambition on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
Speaking after collecting his nomination and expression of interest forms at the PDP headquarters in Abuja, Ozigbo maintained that Soludo should, instead, be the one who should be afraid of his (Ozigbo’s) candidacy.
Responding to a question after picking his forms, Ozigbo said, “I actually want to request that you study my candidacy well enough, because when you do, the question should be the reverse. Shouldn’t Soludo be intimidated by my candidacy.
“I want to say this to you, there are lots of unique advantages that I have, which by the grace of God, may not be equalled by him.
“As you know, we are in the realm of these two worlds, we’re talking about how do we get Anambra to catch up with the rest of the world.
“The person you have here (Ozigbo) is a digital man, who understands the future”, he said.
Continuing, the governorship aspirant said, “If you are also looking for people who are widely acceptable, who have no baggage, who have no enemies, who haven’t done anything that anybody questioned, I am the one. I thank God that he has been able to take me through that journey for my career, where I have shown brilliance in everything I have ever done,” he said.
Ozigbo promised to better the lots of women and children in Anambra state if given the mandate to govern the state, and also provide adequate security.
His words, “Our other intention is to make sure that Anambra youth are well catered for, not just usual caterin. But also ensure that they can be the best of the youth in the world.
