The village head of Filindabo, Dei-dei in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Mohammed Danyabe, has called on the chairman of the council, Micah Yohanna Jiba to provide basic necessities for the people in the area.
Danyabe, who made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily in his palace in Dei-dei, said that despite the village’s closeness to the city centre, it lacks some basic amenities, such as potable water, roads as well as hospital.
He urged the chairman to expedite action in providing more transformers to boost constant supply of electricity to the community.
He further appealed to the FCT Administration and AMAC authorities to come to the community’s assistance by building primary and secondary schools to encourage the children to enroll in schools.
On security, the traditional ruler begged the chairman to join hands with the FCT police Command to establish a police outpost to curb the security situation in the area.
