The residents of Kagini Community in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have called on the chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Micah Yohanna Jiba to provide infrastructural facilities such as electricity, in order to improve the living standard of people in the area.

They also appealed to the administration of AMAC as well as FCT Administration to repair many dilapidated roads within the community, for the benefit of all, especially the commuters plying the roads.

Speaking with Peoples Daily on behalf of the residents, a business man based in the community, Mr. Steve Silas, further charged the council chairman to provide potable drinking water to alleviate their sufferings.

Alleging that the leadership of AMAC had neglected the people of the area in terms of provision of basic necessities of life, he noted that the situation has subject a lot of people to untold hardships.

He however appealed to the village head of the community, Alhaji Isah Gbegbe to use his position to relate with the government of the day to bring some of the critical things needed for its rapid development, thereby enhancing the welfare of the residents.
