The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engineer Mohammed Yahaya Wada has applauded Governor Almakura for the laudable achievements so far recorded in terms of pragmatic projects across the state since assumption of office.
Wada affirmed this in an interview with news men in his residence in Keffi Local Government Council of the state.
According to him, “Almakura administration started far back 2011 with a vision but faced with challenges. Yet the governor was able to overcome them. We can see today pragmatic leadership in the state”
He continued, “today in six years what this government has achieved on ground cannot be anyway compared to the previous administrations in the state.
Wada said that despite the difficulties of funds and challenges , saying that governor Almakura is determined and focused as well as will deliver his promises to the people.
“I assure you that the governor will deliver in the areas of rural projects. The government adopt a policy of the fear of God, prudency, transparency and accountability. The ideology is “let work for the common man that voted for us.”
The commissioner, however, urged Nigerians to be aware of politicians who do not mind to destroy the entire nation for their selfish ambition; adding that the unity of this country is paramount.
“Never allow ourselves to be used by enemies of this country to destroy it or cause disunity. Be aware of those politicians who push us to fight the government. One cannot achieve anything in an atmosphere of rancor,” he maintained
