The Managing Director, Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), Arabi Muhammad Tukur, has enjoined entrepreneurs to be disciplined, hardworking and committed in the way and manner they carry out their business activities.
Making this point, the AEA chief explained how the agency is at the service of entrepreneurs in the FCT to fully support them through interpersonal development on the basic know-how of businesses and technical support services.
He further disclosed that the agency intends to focus more on bolstering youth and agriculture through carrying out a number of programmes and activities across these sectors, in line with federal government’s diversification agenda.
According to him, rural dwellers of FCT are enthused that the agency has put in place measures to enable them benefit from its services, with the opening of a liaison office in Gwagwalada Area Council.
He added that the AEA is set to open another in Bwari Area Council in the first quarter of this year.
“The remaining Area Council liaison offices will be opened subsequently in order for local residents to gain the same services those in the Federal Capital City (FCC) enjoy.
“The entertainment industry is also not left out as the agency is set to have Abuja Creative Enterprise (ACEG) programme sometime in April.
“The programme is a talent exhibition exhibition of youth who have entertainment skills in them, which serves as encouragement to the industry,” he stressed.
