The Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission Executive Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Galadima has appealed to leaders of African countries to as a matter of urgency encourage education in their respective regions by embarking on policies and programmes that would ginger the sector for the younger generation yet unborn.
Alhaji Abdullahi who is an educationist made the called in Lafia while answering questions from Newsmen recently on the general state of education in Africa and Nigeria in particular, decrying the deteriorating state of education across Africa regions.
According to him, “politics should be minimized in terms of education. Strike actions should be stopped through giving incentives to teachers at all levels. Strikes action is not witness in advance countries. African countries should sit up and encourage education in their regions for the younger generation to benefit. Once you deprive education definitely you are killing the future generation”.
