The Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Philip Aduda, has called on eligible and registered voters in the Territory to collect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs), to enable them perform their civic responsibility at the coming general elections.
Aduda stated this, during the commissioning of water projects, constructed and donated by him to rural communities in Kuje Area Council of FCT.
Some of the communities benefiting from the gesture include; Wuru, Tupechi and Kuchiyako villages.
While calling on the community to take proper care of the projects, Aduda said over one hundred and twenty projects including roads, classrooms, electricity and amongst others were constructed by him within the short time of representing FCT will be commissioned in various communities of the six Area councils in the FCT.
He however challenged the opposition candidates to show FCT peoples their dividends of democracy they have brought to the people.
Responding, the village head, Tupechi, Alh. Yohana Yunana, thanked Aduda for bringing the water scheme to the area, for the betterment of the people.
He therefore pledged the community’s readiness to ensure proper maintenance of the projects, while assuring him their support for his re-election bid for the lone FCT senatorial seat in the forthcoming general elections.
