ADC Chairman emerges as Kaduna IPAC Chairman

The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Kaduna State Chapter
Alh. Ibrahim A Suleiman has emerged as the newly elected Chairman of the state’s Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC.
This was stated in a message made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.
The election, which was supervised by Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) and IPAC National Officers, held at the Kaduna INEC Headquarter saw delegates electing Mrs Emelda David Yasmin of DPP as Deputy Chairman, Hassan Ibrahim Rahama of APGA as Secretary, Abubakar Aliyu of CAP as Deputy Secretary and Ahmed Mohammed Zagi of GNP as the Treasurer.
Others elected are: Kabiru Fada Adamu of ID as Financial Secretary, Bashir Bala of NEPP as Publicity Secretary, Mukaila Abubakar of NPM as Legal Adviser and Awesu Kassim of DA as Organizing Secretary.
In his acceptance address, the IPAC Chairman thanks chairmen for given him another mandate to steer the affairs of IPAC for the next one year.
He commended Chairmen of the political parties for smooth conduct of Congress and primaries, saying, IPAC is not an opposition but an umbrella body for all registered political Parties in Nigeria with INEC as a member.
He urged members to adhere strictly to the instrument of authority establishing IPAC, which is Political Parties Code of Conduct. 2018.
Ibrahim A Suleiman stressed the need to promote Inter Party Dialogue among all registered political parties, with view to addressing electoral violence and ensure free, fair, credible and transparent Electoral process in the state.
“I thank all sundry for the cooperation and understanding, particularly INEC for harmonious working relationship and promised to build on that.
“So, we must be prepared. We want to play fair. We must not sleep, but be prepared, mobilized for the general elections; to ensure it is peaceful and fair,” he said.
