Adamawa Police protesters get one month salary

The peaceful protest staged by some aggrieved policemen attached to Adamawa state command over their two months pending salaries on Monday has yielded result as they have started receiving payment alerts from bank.
Peoples Daily investigations revealed that immediately the Police authorities saw the report which went viral in the media on Tuesday it acted wisely by directing the payments with dispatch to save it name from monumental embarrassment.
Some of the officers who are banking with NPF Micro Finance Bank Yola attested that they have received one month salary alerts in the night of Tuesday hoping to get the second one before Christmas celebration.
An affected inspector who pleaded anonymity told our correspondent in Yola Wednesday that, the bank has started paying month of October as many of his colleagues confirmed to him of receiving a month salary alert from NPF Micro-Finance Bank .
He, however, lamented that the delay had caused them and their families untold hardship due lack of funds to attain to their needs as expected.
Recall that on Monday a number of aggrieved policemen banking with NPF Micro Finance Bank Yola protested nonpayment of their salaries for two months of October and November 2017 without any cogent reasons given to them.
