Newspaper distributors, vendors and even readers in Adamawa were thrown into mourning following the sudden death of the state chairman of National Association of Newspaper Distributors of Nigeria,Alhaji Abdulmumini Bello.
Late Bello, 55,died in a ghastly motor accident along Yola-Mubi road at the weekend).
He died along with three others following a head collision with an un-coming vehicle, in which all the four occupants in the car died instantly.
The late chairman of the association would be remembered mostly because of his exemplary leadership qualities in handling the affairs of the association in the state .
The Adamawa correspondent’s chapel of the Nigerian Union ofJournalists (NUJ) described his death as a huge loss to newspaper distribution and circulation in the state.
During a condolence visit to the family of the deceased , the chairman of the correspondent’s chapel, Malam Umar Dankano noted with concern that the demised of the chairman would adversely affect newspaper distribution in the state.
While commiserating with the family, he prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul eternal rest.
Late Abdulmumini Bello died leaving behind four wives and twenty five children. He has since been buried according to Islamic injunctions.
