Governor Mohammed Bindow of Adamawa State had at the weekend thanked all the aspirants who participated in the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial party primaries in the state.
Bindow, who earlier announced last week that he had no preferred candidate for the primary elections in the state, said “I wish to thank the other aspirants, my senior brother, Nuhu Ribadu and my junior brother, Mahmoud Halilu Ahmed (Modi) for a good contest. We are one good family and we will continue to be so.”
In a brief statement yesterday, the governor also paid tribute to party stakeholders and the entire people of Adamawa for the support he always gets from them to run his administration smoothly.
“I wish to thank Almighty Allah for giving me the opportunity to serve the good people of Adamawa State. I am of the belief that it is God who giveth and taketh power, how He wants and when He wants.
“I also wish to thank the good people of Adamawa State for their continuous support and cooperation. I am glad they truly appreciate all the good things we have done for the state and our efforts to make Adamawa State a better place for all.
“My heartfelt gratitude to the party stakeholders and members, the press and my supporters far and near.”
