The Asugeri of Idu-Koro in Abuja, Chief Mohammad Bawa has urged people in his domain to keep maintaining peace.
The village head said this while giving New Year message to indigenes and residents in his domain in his palace.
He commended them for peaceful coexistence, especially this time of frequent disputes between herdsmen and farmers, among other similar vices in some states across the country. The village head therefore urged them to be law abiding and supportive to the government of the day for them to continue to enjoy dividends of democracy.
Chief Muhammad Bawa, however, commended Coca Cola Bottling company, Cway Nigeria Drinking Water Science and Technology Company Limited, Setraco Construction company Limited and others within his domain in Idu industrial area for the help they have been rendering to the community, especially by among others, providing blocks of class rooms and their renovations too.
Hailing Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) for providing another transformer to them as well as giving a new face to their village square, among other goodies they have done for the community, the Asugeri however appealed to the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) to help them install the new transformer that was given to them by (AMAC) to enable the village defeat war against low shedding like nearby villages. He informed that his village has since put in place a base for the transformer, fenced it and had been awaiting its installation.
