From Olanrewaju Lawal, Ilorin
The General Manager of Kwara United FC of Ilorin, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma, has praised the decision of Nigeria Football Federations (NFF) for awarding his club three points and three goals. The NFF’s Organising and Disciplinary (O&D) Committee judgment came after TEAP FC of Abuja abandoned a week 29 match of the Nigeria National League (NNL), encounter in Ilorin on November 1, 2014.
The Kwara United manager while speaking with newsmen on Tuesday in Ilorin said he was happy because the decision reflects that the NNL followed the rules and regulations of the game to the letter. Maigidansanma reminded the team that the job is not done yet and asked them to be focused to ensure the team gained promotion to the Premier League. He commended the fans and supporters of the club for their maturity and support so far and urged them to further support the club with prayers. “We need the prayers of all Kwarans because the job is not done yet until the last match in Kaduna. The Ranch Bees match is very important that is why we need the prayers of Kwarans now. On our part, we will ensure we support the team with necessary logistics” Maigidansanma said.
The Kwara United manager assured the players and the technical crew that the management would do everything to support them to gain promotion. He commended the state governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed for giving the team his unflinching support and assured that his management will not disappoint him.
