The Kano police command has arrested a native doctor digging a grave in Nasarawa area of the metropolis.
Police spokesman, ASP Magaji Majia, who disclosed this yesterday while speaking with newsmen in Kano, said that the suspect, Solomon Eze, 38 years, was caught at Tokarawa burial ground on Thursday by a good Samaritan.
“An angry mob beat him to a coma before he was saved by the village head, who handed him over to the police,” he said.
Majia said that Eze confessed that he was “told by his oracle” to bury a charm in the grave.
The spokesman added that Eze hails from Rivers State, adding “investigation has commenced to unravel the reasons behind the crime”.
