A body, which was later identified by family member as that of  a 34 year-old graduate of Business Administration from Kaduna Polytechnic, Moshood Mohammed was yesterday found dead around NASFAT village in Igabi local government area of Kaduna State.

Investigation revealed that Mohammed had been reported missing since last Thursday.9th October 2014, According the deceased’s  senior brother, Kamal Yinka, Mohammed left his home in Kabala-West part  of  Kaduna metropolis on Thursday morning, to join a friend who was going to take him to Ilorin, the deceased’s country home, for a wedding ceremony scheduled to hold at the weekend.

“We were surprised to see his friend two hours later, to report that he had waited for Mohammed at Mando Roundabout, but he didn’t see him. We taught it was joke from the beginning, until this morning (Sunday) when we found his body around NASFAT village.

“His death is a big blow to our entire family; because Moshood is a young man with a promising future. He just got married recently, with a two months old baby. He just got employed and his aged mother and immediate family were dependent on him.

“We suspect that he was assassinated; but by who? We don’t know. So, we are leaving the assassins in the hands of God. If it is his position in the office they are interested in, let them have it, but God is there to judge,” he said.

Moshood Mohammed, who hailed from Ilorin and was based in Kaduna after his graduation, is survived by his aged mother, wife and two months old baby. Contacted, the Kaduna State Police Commissioner, CP Umar Shehu said he was not aware of the killing. He said, “I am not aware of the case, please call the PPRO”.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Aminu Lawan didn’t pick his call as at press time.
