3 Fulani kids rescued, reunited with families in Yobe

Yobe state police command revealed that it succeeded in recovering 3 Fulani kids on 19 August, 2020 at about 1500hrs by Maisandari Police Divisional Headquarters as they were wandering the street of Damatury-Maiduguri road, around Redbrick housing Estate.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, ASP Dungus Abdulkarem, who disclosed this to Peoples Daily in the state stated that the were finally reunited with their families after several concerted efforts by both the Yobe State Police Command and the State Ministry of Youth and Sports through the Department of Social Welfare Yobe State.
This, he said is one of the success stories of the command worthy of note within the Year, 2020.
The reunion, he stated, took place at the office of the Commissioner for Youth and Sports where he presented the family with a good gesture, warned the parents of future occurrence and that, the state will not condoned such acts of violence and abuse by any parents in the future.
