No fewer than 2,500 delegates would be promoting the potential of Nigeria and the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry during the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2014.

The conference would be holding at the Reliant Stadium, Houston, Texas, U.S. between May 5 and May 8.

This is contained in a press statement issued by Mr. Geof Onuoha, chairman of the conference committee of the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) on Thursday.

The avenue would provide an excellent opportunity for positive portrayal and the promotion of the great potentials of Nigeria and the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry, it said.

“Several indigenous Nigerian companies, leading international and oil service companies and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) will be part of a robust contingent to underscore the dynamism and potential of Nigeria’s Petroleum Industry,’’ the statement said.

It noted that PETAN would coordinate delegates and companies that would be exhibiting their products at the Nigerian pavilion during the four-day conference

The statement said that the OTC had evolved into an annual gathering of delegates comprising — policy makers, operators, manufacturers, business executives, entrepreneurs and visitors from around the world. (NAN)
