2022: Ikwa community declares support for Gwagwalada Vice-chairman

Some of the residents of Ikwa ward in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have declared support for the Vice-chairman of the Area Council, Hon. Kasim Mohammed ahead of the FCT 2022 chairmanship Area Council election.
The residents, who made their declaration known when the Vice-chairman had a consultative meeting with them in Ikwa ward, they vowed to support the Vice-chairman’s ambition in the area.
A resident, Hon. Haruna Yunusa, who is the Councilor representing Ikwa ward, describing the Vice-chairman as a politician with vision.
He added that the vice-chairman is a competent leader who has the people at heart.
Yunusa said whoever emerged as the APC Chairmanship candidate in 2022, he would swing into action to mobilize the people for him.
Another resident, Hon. Abdullahi Ikwa who was the Vice-chairman of Gwagwalada Area council, charged the people of Ikwa Community to work for the Vice-chairman to actualize his ambition.
On his part, the chairman of APC in Ikwa ward, Mr. Garba Yakubu, said he was excited as the vice-chairman was nursing the idea to be among the aspirants who would contest for the chairmanship primaries.
He said he would use his position as the party chairman to plead for the delegates of Ikwa to vote for the vice-chairman during the primaries election.
Yakubu, however, appealed to the leaderships of APC in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as well as Gwagwalada to deem it fit to conduct primary election in 2022 in a transparent manner.
No left out, the elder of APC in Ikwa ward, Alhaji Idrisu Ikwa, pledged to mobilize supporters for the Vice-chairman.
Meanwhile, some of the APC members from Giri, Gwagwalada, Kutunku Zuba, Tunga-maje and Anagada and students’ union among others communities attended the Vice-chairman’s consultative meeting
