The president of United Church of Christ in Nations also known as HEKAN Rev.Amos Kiri has called on all the members of the Church and others Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) because it is the only power they can use in electing leaders of their choice in the forthcoming Elections.
He made the assertion in a speech he delivered at the end of three days National fasting and prayers organized by the Church in Kaduna yesterday.
Rev.Kiri who was represented by the Vice President of the Church Rev. Emmanuel Nama appealed to all Nigerians to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner before, during and after the Elections.
The cleric also called on the Government to ensure that the territorial, borders, lives and property of the citizens are protected.
Rev Kiri expressed dismay over the insecurity that is bedeviling the country especially the North East and Zamfara State.
He also asked the Federal Government to intensify effort to secure the release of Leah Shuraibu who has been in Boko Haram captivity.
Speaking on the program, he said prayer is the breath and life wire of the Church and members, saying how serious a Christian prayer life is will determine his or relationship with God
