2019 : Jigawa ALGON supports Buhari’s 2nd term bid

The 27 local government chairmen in Jigawa state, expressed their happiness and support on the president Muhammad Buhari’s declaration to recontest for the second term in 2019 general election.
The ALGON chairman Jigawa state chapter Aminu Sani Gumel disclosed this while speaking to news men yesterday shortly after the meeting with 27 local government council Chaimen at government house Dutse.
He explained that, the association endorse the president declaration to recontest in 2019, describing the statement as happiest moment for Nigerians which they are eager to hear.
According to him, the declaration is long over due as Nigerians has been expecting such good news from Mr President, even thought, President Buhari followed the right channel before the declaration, the president’s statement has now shape the political atmosphere in the country.
He stated that, the declaration makes the ruling All Progressive Congress and the opposition PDP to strengthening their efforts towards 2019, before the declaration, Nigerians are eager to know whether he will seek reelection or not.
“ALGON in Jigawa are solely with president Buhari judging by his performance in any corruption war, insecurity, and revamping the economy after being battered by the PDP, “.
“The Local Governments are more closer to the people, with this declaration, we will make sure the people at grassroot are mobilise to support president Buhari in 2019” he said.
The stands of the ALGON in Jigawa indicated that Governor Badaru has proved to his political adversaries in the state that, he is with the president contratry to their claimed that, the governor just pretend to be with the president.
