From Ahmad Mohammed, Bauchi

A coalition of Youths organizations in Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro local governments of Bauchi State have expressed their unflinching support to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
Addressing their supporters yesterday, shortly after a rally in support of the Speaker held in Tafawa Balewa Local government of Bauchi State, leader of the group Architect Rufai Samson explained that the demonstration was aimed at showing solidarity to the speaker in view of the ‘several constituency projects he executed in the three local government areas that constitute the constituency.
He said the speaker deserves support from all constituents in view of the numerous development projects he executed or facilitated to the three local governments of the constituency regardless of tribal or political differences.
Rufai said the number four citizen built bridges, farm markets and libraries; and renovated primary schools in the three areas.
He said that the speaker also facilitated the construction of 57 kilometers road in Dass local government by the federal government and other roads in Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro local governments.
Rufai said Mr Dogara had personally sponsored 10, 000 people from the constituency for training at the Federal College of horticulture, Dadinkowa in Gombe State on crops production and others to Israel for training on modern farming.
Many speakers that spoke at the rally stated that in these three local governments areas no candidate for house of representatives from Dass, Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro federal constituency will be elected in the 2019 election other than Right Honourable Yakubu Dogara. And they will not allow any individual or group to indulge in character assassination or blackmail against the speaker, because he did many things in their communities which nobody ever did.
