2019: Almakura assures aspirants of level playing ground

Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura of Nasarawa State has assured all contestants into the various political positions in the state of a level playing ground in the fourth coming general elections in 2019.
Almakura gave the assurance during an expanded APC stakeholders meeting held at the Government House Chamber Lafia, the State Capital.
According to him, ” Government is going to be a father of all aspirants. Government will allow a level playing field to all contestants at the poll. Never you be deceived by insinuation by some quotas.”
Speaking extensively on the political terrain in the country, Governor Almakura urged the stakeholders to be steadfast, focused and committed to the APC ideology.
He said, “ I commend all the APC family from Nasarawa State at all levels for keeping to APC policies . Whatever that is happening around the country, Nasarawa stand firm for APC. I must commend our National Assembly members for their maturity and being loyal to our great party APC”.
He continued,” Nasarawa State is the second home of Mr. President Buhari. I commend the vision, mission, focus and aspiration of every one of us for the commitment to APC. I urged you all to maintain the philosophy of APC by coming together as one. Let us work hard for the success of our party. We should give Mr. President the desire support in 2019 general elections. Don’t allow yourselves to be brainwash by selfish individuals. Be united at all times.”
Also contributing at the event, senator representing Nasarawa West, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu charged the stakeholders to work assiduously for APC in order to enable President Buhari continue with his good work for the nation as according to him “ Nasarawa is the lead state for APC in the north central.”
“What is happening around the space of politics in the country today is nothing more than those people are jealous of Buhari. They do not want anything good for the country,” He said.
