2018: Gov. Masari rounds off campaign

The ongoing gubernatorial campaign by Governor Aminu Bello Masari, has reached its climax with the conclusion of Daura senatorial zone last Wednesday. The campaign was rounded up in Baure and Zango local governments.
While in Baure, Governor Aminu Bello Masari assured that if re-elected, the APC administration would consolidate on the achievements so far made during the second tenure.
Masari however emphasized the need for traditional and religious leaders to advocate for the emergence of good leadership through the ballot in the 2019 general elections.
He also spoke on the need for the traditional and religious leaders to sensitize people on the dangers of harboring criminals.
Masari further requested the law enforcement agencies to be briefed on the whereabouts and presence of kidnappers and their informants to rid the society of bad elements.
Earlier, the Danburam of Daura, and District Head of Baure, Muhammad Daha Umar, revealed that the APC administration had rehabilitated Sandamu – Baure -Babban Mutum road, upgraded and rehabilitated Baure General hospital, Drainages, rehabilitated Babban Mutum comprehensive Health centre, rehabilitated several primary schools and constructed seven new primary schools, among others.
Muhammad Daha assured that traditional and religious leaders would continue to support government for more development projects to be executed in the domain.
Highlights of the campaign round up was the receipt of decampees by the state chairman of the APC, Shitu S. Shitu in the two local governments.
In a remark, the chairman of the campaign Council and secretary to katsina State Government, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, expressed gratitude to stakeholders who contributed towards the success of the gubernatorial campaigns in the state.
