The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has vowed to defeat the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2015 governorship election in Yobe state.
The state PDP Youth leader, Alhaji Ado Adamu Bomboy, who stated this yesterday while addressing newsmen in Bauchi said the party will take advantage on the failure of the ruling APC in the state to provide the desired dividends of democracy to the citizenry within the last 16 years of its administration.
He claimed that Gaidam has failed woefully to revitalise the economy of the state just as the state is experiencing backwardness in the areas of agriculture, health care delivery and security promising that the PDP will respond to the yearnings of the people if elected in 2015.
He said “PDP is on a new beginning in Yobe state with an unprecedented support coming from across the state that will certainly effect change for development and prosperity in the state,” he boasted.
On the presidential election, the youth leader pledged to mobilize the youth in the north east to passionately support President Goodluck Jonathan insisting that he is committed to solving the problems of the country.
He added that the on going national conference is aimed at addressing national challenges.
“Jonathan’s administration has brought harmony among people through dialogue and interaction regardless of political, regional or religious affiliations. As such, his administration needs continuity to achieve its set goals’’.
