From Edwin olofu, Kano

The Interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano state, Alhaji Abdullahi Gwarzo , has said that there will be no change of government in Kano by 2015.

Gwazo made the assertion in Kano when he led other members of the interim members on a courtesy call to the state chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Abduljalad Haruna, in Kano state press centre on Wednesday.

According to him, the masses of the state were yearning for a change of governance as a result of the bad attitude of the PDP ,saying that the only platform available for the electorate to realise this dream is by voting for the APC in subsequent election for 2015.

“Though the populace have been disappointed with the way PDP is running the affairs of the country but we rejoice with the incumbent governor , Dr. Kwankwaso for his timely decision in defecting to the mega party -APC,” he said.

Gwarzo also assured that the interim members of the APC would work assiduously to make sure that the party captures all the 44 local governments in the election slated for March this year.

He said the laudable achievements recorded by the Kwankwaso’s regime since assumption of office would pave way for the party to have a landslide victory.

“Kwankwaso ‘s regime has executed friendly projects which has made his government dear to the populace,” he said. According to him, that all the laudable projects would work for the positive result of the APC in the forthcoming election.

Speaking at the occasion, comrade Haruna said the NUJ would always support democracy, commending the Kwankwaso’s regime for paying the minimum wage as well assisting less privileged in the state .

He further commended the governor for all positive moves being taken to reposition the state.

Haruna, who lauded the effort of the incumbent governor for the spirited effort in raising education standard as well sponsoring many indigenes on foreign education also noted that the masses would never forget the impact of his government.
