APC Youth leader Mr. Ephraim Ayuba in Tudun Wada Mada Town in Panda Development Area of Karu Local Government Council of Nasarawa State has called on the people of the state to re-elect Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura in the forth coming general election. The youth leader stated this yesterday while addressing thousands of Mada youths during their annual Tudun Wada Mada Development Association meeting.
According to him, Governor Al-makura has performed creditably well within the period of 3 years and compared to the previous administrations that only dwelled on siphoning the state treasury.
He described Al-makura as a great transformer, visionary leader, focused, prudent and a man who believes in sincerity and accountability.
His words, “If our past leaders were sincere and good managers of the state funds and as well as have the state at heart like Al-makura, honestly Nasarawa State would have developed more than what it is today. Therefore, with strong voice, I call on the good people of Nasarawa to vote massively for Al-makura to come back in 2015 in order to take the state to a greater height”.
Ephraim further enumerated the various developmental giant strides of Al-makura to include: transformation of education sector from primary to tertiary institutions, road construction across the 13 Local Government Councils of the state, construction and equipping the existing general hospitals in the state as well as electricity and water supply amongst others. As according to him all these were done within the short time Al-makura has been in office, stressing that he deserves a second term.
He maintained that the choice for Hon Silas Agara by Governor Al-makura as running mate was a right one and in the right direction viewed from his leadership qualities, adding that with their positive ideologies if elected in the general election in 2015, they would deliver the dividends of democracy to the common masses.
Ephraim also appealed to Al-makura to extend his kind gesture by constructing a bridge at River Jemage that will link Jemage Mada to neighboring Wasa Station in Kaduna State, adding that if constructed it would go a long way to promote commercial activities in the area
