A former youth leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Adamawa state Alh. Aliyu Bakari, who is a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) has said that the defection of Governor Murala Nyako and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to APC, has rattled the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Bakari observed that the PDP lost its relevance in the state when Gov Murtala Nyako, the state leader of the party and other founding fathers like former Vice President Atiku Abubakar left its fold to APC based on impunity, injustice melted on them.

Bakari, while addressing over 5000 PDP supporters from the 21 local government areas of the state who reaffirmed their support to Nyako APC led government at Silver Hotel, Yola, maintained that APC is the only party in State that will guarantee the safety of the electorates in any election.

The former PDP Youth leader, who is now the Special Adviser to Nyako, on Grassroots Mobilization, told the gathering that over1.5 million electorates are working for the victory of APC ahead of the 2015 general elections.
He explained that those who mattered in the PDP who worked for the victory of the party in the last general election such as Alh. Mijinyawa Kugama, Ahmed Song, Alh. Abdu Digir, Hon PP Elisha, former governor of the state, Alh. Saleh Michika, and hosts of others have decided to work for the interest of the APC in the next general election.
He advised the decamped members of the PDP not to be troubled as the APC will give them a free and dependable democracy at all levels in the state just as he advised those who are yet to declare for the party to come forward and do so.

Bakari called on all people of the state to come and join the APC as the party is open to all irrespective of your creed or religion.
He charged the members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly who recently decamped to the PDP to retrace their steps stressing that it was only in APC they could actualize their political ambition.
