200,000 youths, women gain skills acquisition in Bauchi

A member Federal house of representatives representing Bogoro, Tafawa-Balewa and Dass Hon.Barrsiter Yakubu Dogara has trained over 200,000 youths and women on various skills acquisition just as 200 also train on computer application.

The Co-ordinator of the programme Arc.Samson Ayuba Piapia made the statement at the weekend during the graduation ceremony of the first batch of 200 students in Tafawa-Balewa, Bauchi state.

The purpose of the programme he added is intended to expose the youths on the application of various programme in computer and internet browsing in tandem with the global response.

Arc. Samson stress that the programme is an avenue for encouraging the youths to become self reliant since as it is expected that after graduation, they will operate independently to earn living.

According to the co-ordinator, the reps. Member has train over 200,000 youths and women through various skill acquisition prorgammes since 2007-date and is committed to do more.

He maintained that training  the youths is the  collective responsibilities  of the all stakeholders as government alone cannot handle it due to scarce resource which he explain is a global phenomenon. “We introduce Chonglings Internet Solutions in Tafawa-Balewa with the support of Hon.Barrister Dogara Yakubu desperate to train the entire youths in Bogoro,Tafawa-Balewa and Dass free of charge  in batches as part of efforts to expose them on computer application with the global need of information and communication technology (ICT)” said Samson.

He challenges then youths to use the opportunity avail to them to teach others and to operate independently to earn their living explaining that computer knowledge is never a waste.

Responding on behalf of the graduating students Rasan Ramwa Wusini Landi express delight for the initiative and describe as a milestone to youths and women to earn their living.

According to Landi Dogara Yakubu has done a lot to sent the youths and women packing out of the streets since 2007 to date and challenge politician to emulate him in the provision on democratic dividends.
