One hundred and thirty trainees of the N-Power sponsored programme under the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) have been presented with work tools to enable them start their own business.
Speaking during the presentation which took place at the Business Aprentenship Center, Kagoro, Kaura local government area of the State,the Course Deck Manager of Mondo Center in Kaduna Mr Pethuel Adamu Ali Congratulated the beneficiaries for the starter pack, which he said can wipe out poverty in their lives and community at large.
Mr. Ali however, warned the beneficiaries not to sell the work tools given to them.
Mr Lawal Halidu, the Center Manager in Kagoro in his welcome address said the program is an upskill N-Build Community Skills Development Program .
Halidu, described the day as a memorable one as it witnessed the send forth ceremony of the nine month industrial attachment program
He applauded the Federal Government and it’s partners including Instructors as well as Facilitators during the training for the support and knowledge impacted during the concluded training.
In his remark, Nuhu Bako, representative of the Traditional Council, urged the beneficiaries to consider the opportunity as a rare privilege and sustain interest in the various skills they acquired
Also, Anjauka Collins from Sanga Local government, on behalf of the beneficiaries applauded the Scheme and promised not to betray the confidence reposed on them.
The beneficiaries were trained in various skills including; Building, Tileling, Painting, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, and they got work tools for the listed vocations .
