A blogger, Stella Dimoko Korkus, was the first to reveal the singer’s state of health.
“I have been going back and forth with this info and confused whether to keep it to myself for fear of making this viral or calling on people to join hands and pray for Kefee Don Momoh,” Stella wrote on her blog.
The singer reportedly collapsed earlier this week while on a flight going to Chicago.
She later tweeted, “Thanks for your prayers & well wishes, my people “nothing dey happen and No shaking”.
The tweet has been questioned amidst reports that someone else is operating her Twitter account.
Kefee’s OAP (On Air Personality) husband, Teddy Esosa, has reportedly flown to the U.S. to be at his wife’s side.
Also, Damiete Charles-Granville, a model and contestant at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012 pageant and the 2012 Miss World pageant 2012, in a BlackBerry Broadcast message confirmed that Kefee is still in coma.
“You may have heard by now that she, Kefee the Branama queen, collapsed on a flight to Chicago after a performance… fact is… she is still in coma”, she wrote and asked Nigerians to pray for the gospel singer.
“Wherever u are, all over the world I need you to #PrayForKefee #KefeeMustWakeUp God will hear our prayers and wake her up.”
