Goalkeeper and deputy captain, Vincent Enyeama, says that there is no contention about the Captain’s armed band as Joseph Yobo remains the leader of the Super Eagles.
Enyeama, who skippered the team yesterday in their 4-1 mauling of the Malians said, in spite of leading the team for the second time while Yobo start from the bench that Yobo remains the skipper and will rightly take to the podium to receive the trophy should the Super Eagles win on Sunday.

“I am deputy captain. Yobo remains the skipper. Everyone is the captain in his position but there is no doubt about it, Yobo is the captain. By God’s grace on Sunday when we win the Africa Cup of Nations, the young man will go up to receive his trophy. He has worked hard for it and there is will be no denying him that honour,” he said.
